Company Philosophy
We are a very hands-on company - Over the years we have found that by operating with a handful of carefully selected individuals and subcontractors, we can closely monitor and control every aspect of the building process. In addition, we have the flexibility to find and contract the exact talent we need for each individual project. Whether you are building a summer retreat, your dream home, or the perfect building for your business, we can assemble the right team of people for your project. This is not a new or unique concept but we adopted it because it gives us unlimited capabilities.

Company Principals
Ric and Janice Hucks started the Westmoreland Group over 15 years ago. For Ric, building has been a part of his life since he was a teenager. Friends and customers are some times amazed at the wealth of knowledge he brings to the business. If you ever want to know something about the intricacies of building, just ask Ric. Janice brings a great deal of building and real estate experience to the business.

Price is Important
Would you look for the best doctor or the cheapest? When it comes to our health, of course, we want the best. Price is important, but not if the end-result is less than expected. Our pricing strategy is based on giving you the best value. That means we make sure you get the most for your dollar. Our approach is simple but very effective at achieving the right results. We only use experienced, knowledgeable, reliable tradesmen. For us price is important but results are paramount. We think this is the right approach to building a quality product. We call our approach "Right Pricing". We will be happy to discuss it at length when we meet.

Our "one-bite-at-a-time" approach allows us to carefully monitor each task to ensure that we have the best people on the job.
